Folding Card using DSP

I may have shown you a card like this before, but we made this in class this month so I thought I would post it.

This is how it opens up. I think it's a great idea and a good way to use all that Designer Series Paper you have. I know I have tons of it. :) You can put your image on either side of the fold. I just happened to choose the right side for a change.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you like my blog. Hope to see you again soon, in the meantime, Happy Stamping!

Class Project "Friendship"

We made this card in class. Easy to make. We could have cut out the white portion too, some did and some didn't. Either way it turned out nice.

New Envelope Punch Board

Use this creativity-boosting tool to create anything from itty bitty to long and skinny envelopes!
Go to this site to view a video of how this works. It's great!

http://youtu.be/JzokPixpko

Item Description Price
133774 Envelope Punch Board $19.95
Available to customers beginning September 1, 2013.

  • It creates totally customizable envelopes in up to 66 different sizes (not to mention a million different color and pattern options depending on the paper you want to use). Even tried and true envelope sizes will only take you moments to create!
  • It's super easy to use; it will go over as a huge wow when you demonstrate it at your events and your customers see it in action. It looks intimidating at first glance, but when they see that all you have to do is measure for the first punch and from there you just turn and score they'll go crazy (in a good way).
  • It's small and lightweight; this makes it easy for you to take it to your events and show it. It's also a great selling point when you show your customers how it's super portable and easy to store. It's small and light enough that they could use it while watching a soccer match, at a park, at a friend's for craft night-anywhere.
  • It even has a slick scoring tool as well as a punch that lets you create rounded corners on your envelopes.
  • It's easy to keep it all together; the stylus storage compartment and two punches are designed into the tool so you don't have a bunch of little pieces to keep track of (even the instructions are printed right on the tool so you won't lose them!).
  • The price is terrific-especially for a tool that does so much!
  • It will be in next year's annual catalog, so it's here to stay.

What Fun!

This is my idea of fun! (Besides making cards of course) I love the sun and the wind in my face. We didn't get to do as much of this as I would have liked this year due to my illness. But hopefully next year we can do more. It was a great summer this year, I hope next year will be just as nice.

Kick Up Your Heels!

This card was inspired by another persons' web site. It was hard to get the hang of it though. I went through a lot of paper to get it right. Must be a trick to it they didn't explain. Hope you like it. The first photo is not as clear as I wanted it so I took a close up view too but it doesn't show the whole card, which is  why there are two photos.

Butterfly Bundle Special

This didn't turn out as clear as I would have liked it to be. Butterfly Bundle Clear Mount 135311 $30.90 savings of $4.63 Wood Mount 135312 $34.90 Savings of $5.23. You get both the Stamp Set and the Butterfly Punch. The punch is a must have even if you don't want the Bundle! I use mine all the time, Love it!!

Sheila's Present

I love these new boxes they have available now. When you see the pictures you will see why. So easy to
make up a gift for someone with them. And you can put whatever you want in them. I chose candy.

Buttons

This card is stamped first with image of cherries, then I added buttons and cut out polka dot designer series paper in green for the leaves. I turned  out to be adorable.

These are strawberry plants in the other half barrel. Also planted some in another small garden area in the front yard.  There is a HUGE Cedar tree in the front yard, don't know how old it is, but it is at least 80 or 90 years old. Has a rock wall all the way around it and grows Oregon berries that I make jam with too. I did not plant those. The birds bring me all kinds of new flowers and things every year. I love it. Hope you enjoyed my little tour. I love to drag things out, as you can tell. Gives me something to post. lol The next posts will be stamping up cards again. Hope to see you here.

Side Patio

These are a smaller version of lilies growing in a half barrel. There are some right by the front door that are much larger and I always take a deep breath before coming into the house just to enjoy them while they last. Love that smell too! I see there is a hose connected to the watering get up hubby created. And this is the bench on the other side of the patio I told you about. More lilies growing behind that bench too.
